This is our cutter suction dredger, called the CSD5522 model. The cutter suction dredger is equipped with a rotating cutter head, which loosens stuck bottom material in inland waterways.
The loosened material is sucked away and discharged through pipes by dredging pumps. If the dredged material has to be transported over a longer distance, we provide our pipelines with boosters, so that the dredged material can be transported faster. Our cutter suction dredger can be completely disassembled, so that the various components can be transported by road or in sea containers.
The cutter suction dredger is equipped with anchor booms with which it can move the anchors independently.
The cutter suction dredger is equipped with a positioning system, which enables us to determine very accurately at which location the dredger should be dredged.
